2004 - McDowell Holdings Ltd. was incorporated on 1st March 2004, with registrar of companies Karnataka, with the name and style of United Golden Beverages Ltd.

- From 31st March 2004, name of the company was changed to McDowell India Sprits ltd.

2005 - In the terms of a Composite Scheme of Arrangement, the investment business of McDowell & Co. Ltd., was demerged into the company with effect from the 1st April, 2005. Since then that investment business renamed as United Sprits Ltd.

2006 - From 17th October 2006, name of the company was changed to McDowell Holdings Ltd.

-Company has changed its name from McDowell India Spirits Ltd. to McDowell Holdings Ltd.

2007 -United Spirits Ltd had transferred its entire stake in United Breweries Holdings to McDowell Holdings due to the restructuring of its investment business.

- On May 2007, the company got listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange at Rs 195.60 following a restructuring scheme.

- On 28th September 2007, shareholders of the company had approved to Special Resolution for voluntary de-listing of equity shares of the Company from the stock exchanges situated at Ahmedabad, Chennai, Kolkata and New Delhi, after completion of necessary formalities in terms of SEBI (De-listing of Securities) Guidelines, 2003.

2008 - The securities of the company have been delisted from The Calcutta Stock Exchange Association Ltd (CSE).

-McDowell Holdings Ltd has appointed Mr. Shrikant G Ruparel as an Additional Director on the Board of Directors of the Company.

-Registered Office of the Company has been shifted From 51, Richmond Road, Bangalore - 560 025, To 4, Convent Road,Bangalore - 560 025.

2009

- Directors of the Company, the Registered Office of the Company has been shifted from 4, Convent Rood, Bangalore - 560 025, to the following address, with effect from February 16. 2009: McDowell Holdings Ltd, 20/2, Vittal Mallya Road,Bangalore - 560 001.
