MediCaps Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated on 6th August, 1983 as a Private Limited Company and was converted into Public Limited on 3rd March, 1986. The Company is engaged in manufacture of Empty Hard Gelatine Capsule.

PRESENT BUSINESS

The Company commenced manufacturing in June 1986 by installing Two Automatic Capsule Making Machine having installed capacity of 500 Million Capsules per annum. After initial consolidation the Company added the third machine in 1991 and fourth machine in 1992. The Company continued its expansion programme and added two more automatic machines in 1993-94 through internal accruals increasing the installed capacity to 1500 Million Capsules per annum. The Company is in process of acquiring its seventh automatic machine which is to be operational by Dec.,94 and the eighth machine is expected to be operational before
March,95. By end of the current financial year the company will have eight automatic capsules making machine having installed capacity of 2000 Million Capsules per annum.
