The Company was incorporated as a private limited Company vide certificate of Incorporation No.5048 of 1984-85 on 20th October, 1984 with the Registrar of Companies, Andhra Pradesh with its registered office at 1-2-288/6/4, Domalguda, Hyderabad - 500 029 Viz, "M.s Salguti Chemplast (P) Ltd". Later the Private Limited Company was changed to a public Limited Company on 17th August 1992. The name was subsequently changed to "M/s Salguti Plastics Ltd" on 8th January 1993. The company set up a HDPE/PP Woven Sack plant with a capacity of 308 MTs per annum and commenced commercial production on 2.4.1987.

The Company is mainly promoted by Mr S Vishnu Vardhan Reddy, Mrs. S Rajita Reddy and Mr S Gopal Reddy.
