MS Securities Limited was incorporated on 12th February, 1992, and obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business on 13th February, 1992 from the Registrar of Companies (ROC) Bihar at Patna.

Present Business

The Company is a Non-Banking Finance Company (NBFC) and is governed by the Non-Banking Finance Companies (RBI) Directive, 1977, issued by the RBI. Presently the Company is offering services in the following areas:

a. Sub-underwriting : The Company undertakes sub underwriting of primary market issues after each issue is analysed by its executives. It enters into an agreement with the underwriter and the same is documented. The company has undertaken this activity since the financial year 1993-94 and has sub-underwritten a sum of more than Rs.6 crores without facing any devolvement. The Company has been doing sub-underwriting since the financial year 1992-93.

b. Financial Consultancy: The Company provides consultancy to its clients on the basis of research and analysis of the investment opportunities carried out in-house. Apart from high networth individuals the clients include Public Sector Units for investment in Provident
Funds. This activity is being carried out since inception.

c. Project Consultancy: The Company advises its clients regarding business ventures in line with the latest government policies and the prevailing Economic environment and also helps them in identifying such opportunities. The Company has been into Project Consultancy since
inception.

d. Resource Mobilisation: The Company is engaged in mobilising funds for the primary market since inception. In the past it had mobilised funds in co-ordination with leading primary market brokers of Calcutta and Bombay. The Company utilises the services of its wide marketing network comprising of 923 agents.Â
