The Company was originally incorporated as ‘Veekayem Textile Mills Private Limited’ on September 17, 1985 as a private limited company under the Companies Act, 1956 with the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Pursuant to a special resolution of the Shareholders passed in the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on June 13, 2018, the Company was converted from a private limited company to public limited company and consequently, the name of the Company was changed to ‘Veekayem Textile Mills Limited’ and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated June 29, 2018 was issued to the Company by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai. Subsequently, pursuant to a special resolution of the Shareholders passed in the Extra-Ordinary General Meeting held on August 18, 2018 the name of the Company was changed to ‘Veekayem Fashion & Apparels Limited’ and a fresh certificate of incorporation dated October 29, 2018 was issued to the Company by the Registrar of Companies, Mumbai.
