Ashok Leyland Shares Rally on Robust Numbers
Shares of Ashok Leyland rose nearly 1 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the Hinduja Group flagship firm reported a 23.1 per cent increase in its sales in October at 8,375 units. It had sold 6,803 units during the same month of previous year.
The shares of company rose as much as 0.54 per cent to trade at Rs 46.75 a piece on the BSE.Similarly, shares of the company rose 0.64 per cent to Rs 46.85 a piece on National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 27,935.21, up 89.72 points or 0.32 per cent at 11.35 hours.
