Ashok Leyland Shares Rally on Robust Numbers Business

Shares of Ashok Leyland rose nearly 1 per cent in early trade on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) after the Hinduja Group flagship firm reported a 23.1 per cent increase in its sales in October at 8,375 units. It had sold 6,803 units during the same month of previous year.

NSE 154.78 3.32 (-2.14%)
The shares of company rose as much as 0.54 per cent to trade at Rs 46.75 a piece on the BSE.
Similarly, shares of the company rose 0.64 per cent to Rs 46.85 a piece on National Stock Exchange.
Meanwhile, the broader benchmark Sensex was quoting at 27,935.21, up 89.72 points or 0.32 per cent at 11.35 hours.
