Tara Jewels

Tara Jewels gained on Wednesday after the company received new orders worth $8 million from Walmart USA

Stock ended the day at Rs 33.20, higher by 0.15 per cent on BSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 35.80 and low of Rs 32.75 during the trade.

Hindustan Zinc

Hindustan Zinc rose on reports that the government is mulling amendments to the Metal Corporation Nationalization and Miscellaneous Provisions Act, 1976 in order to push the sale of its remaining stakes in the company.

Stock ended the day at Rs 135, higher by 3.45 per cent on NSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 138 during the trade.

Telecom Stocks

Shares of the telecome company rose after the government approved telecom spectrum trading norms.

Bharti Airtel zoomed by 2.49 per cent, Idea Cellular was up by 2.02per cent and Reliance Communiation was up 11.75 per cent to Rs 62.25.

HUL

The FMCG company sold his bread and bakery business Modern to Nimman Foods, an investee company of Everstone Group

Stock ended the day at Rs 803, higher by 0.18 per cent on NSE. It touched an intraday high of Rs 812 during the trade.

Jewellery stocks

Shares of gold companies, like TBZ, Gitanjali Gems and Rajesh Exports were higher after Cabinet today approved Gold Monetisation & Gold Bond Schemes.
