The 30-share benchmark index ended the trade at 23962.21, lower by 99.83 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 7276.80, down by 32.50 points.

Mortgage lender Dewan Housing Finance Ltd (DHFL) on Wednesday reported a 16.4 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 185.90 crore for the third quarter ended December, 2015, on higher loan disbursements, reports PTI.

Kalpataru Power Transmission Ltd (KPTL) today said that it has bagged four orders for power transmission projects totalling Rs 1,295 crore.
