Nandan Nilekani To Be Back At Infosys; Clarity In Next 48 Hours

A news channel has reported that Nandan Nilekani was to return back to head Infosys, though clarity on his exact capacity would be known in the next 48 hours.

Nandan Nilekani headed the Bengaluru-based IT company between 2002 and 2007. During his tenure, the dollar revenues for the companies registered an CAGR of 42% while its average EBIT margin stood at 28%. At the same time, former CFO said he is not sure whether the board has had any concrete discussions with Nilekani.

Also, on the query, if the company at this juncture, is turning out to be a takeover candidate by investment bankers or other institutions, the forerm CFO denied such a move and said the company is doing well and everything is a speculation on this.
