If you haven't already linked your PAN (permanent account number) with Aadhaar, the government has offered you additional time to do so. The deadline has been extended from 30 June 2018 to 31 March 2019.

This is the fifth time that the deadline for linking Aadhaar to PAN has been extended by the Central Board of Direct Taxes (CBDT). The deadline has been moved from 31 July 2017 to 31 December 2017 to 31 March 2018 to 30 June 2018 before. Under section 119 of the Income Tax Act, an order was issued by the CBDT late at night on June 30 regarding the same.

As of March 2018, only over 16.65 crore PANs have been linked to Aadhaar out of 33 crore.
