Gold Price Falls In India, Sept 7: 24k/100 Grams Gold Drops By Rs 4400, Big Dip In Silver

Gold prices in India today witnessed decline on Ganesh Chaturthi 2024 thus giving relief to buyers amid mixed US jobs data. Silver prices too recorded sharpest decline in September. 22k gold prices today slipped by Rs 400 to Rs 66,800/10 grams and 100 grams of 22 carat yellow metal prices today fell by Rs 4000 to Rs 6,68,000. 24k gold prices today declined by Rs 440 to Rs 72,870/10 grams and 100 grams of 24 carat precious metal prices today stood at Rs 7,28,700 after fall of Rs 4,400.

18k gold prices today fell by Rs 322 to Rs 54,660/10 grams and 100 grams of 18 carat yellow metal prices today came down by Rs 3,220 to settle at Rs 5,46,600.
1 gram gold rate today for 22k gold prices turned cheaper by Rs 40 to Rs 6,680 and 1 gram gold price today for 24k gold slipped by Rs 44 to Rs 7,287. 1 gram gold price today fell by Rs 32,20 to Rs 5466.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold declined 0.8% to $2,495.86 per ounce by 1:59 p.m. ET (1759 GMT). US gold futures declined 0.7% at $2,524.60. Spot silver declined 3.1% to $27.92. Platinum retreated 0.4% to $920.55 while palladium fell 3.1% to $913.00, according to Reuters.

According to Reuters, "Gold's presence above the psychological $2,500 line is being sustained by the weaker U.S. dollar, after both the ADP and JOLTS figures came in at their lowest respectively since 2021," said Han Tan, chief market analyst at Exinity Group.

Silver Prices Today In India: Silver price in India today witnessed steep fall so far in September. 1kg silver prices today fell by Rs 2500 to Rs 84,500. 100 grams silver price today in India declined by Rs 250 to Rs 8,450.
