Gold Price Zooms In India, Sept 25: Yellow Metal Continues To Scale New Peak, Check Latest Gold Price

Gold prices in India hit new high yet again for 3rd consecutive day today amid weaker dollar and soaring tensions in Middle East. Meanwhile, traders are gearing up for more cues on the interest rate trajectory from US Federal Reserve. 22K gold price today witnessed sharp surge of Rs 600 to settle at Rs 70,600/10 grams and 100 grams of 22 carat precious metal turned dearer by Rs 6000 to Rs 7,06,000 in India on September 25, 2024. 24k gold prices today zoomed to new high of Rs 77,020/10 grams after gain of Rs 660 and 100 grams of 24 carat yellow metal priced rose by Rs 6600 to Rs 7,70,200.

According to Dr. Renisha Chainani, Head Research - Augmont - Gold For All, "investors have flocked to gold as a safe-haven asset in response to the Fed's policy change and deteriorating economic conditions, pushing the price to an all-time high of $2694 (~Rs 75900). According to the Conference Board's newest poll, consumer confidence fell by 6.9 points, marking the greatest monthly loss in three years."

Escalating geopolitical tensions in the Middle East adds to the fear. The battle in Israel has expanded to encompass Hezbollah in Lebanon. Both sides have aggressively undertaken military strikes, increasing the scope of the situation. Investors use gold as a conventional hedge against global volatility. The confluence of these economic and geopolitical variables has considerably strengthened the safe-haven. After touching the $2600 target, gold prices continue their bullish momentum to $2700 (~Rs 76000). Prices are in the overbought zone and we can see a retracement up to $2500 (~Rs 71800) and $2475 (~Rs 71000) anytime soon, added Renisha Chainani.

18k yellow metal prices today in India zoomed by Rs 500 to Rs 57,770/10 grams and 100 grams of 18 carat gold prices today rallied by Rs 5000 to Rs 5,77,700 on Wednesday.

24k gold price for 1 gram today inched higher by Rs 66 to Rs 7,702. On the other hand, 1 gram gold rate today for 22k gold price glittered by Rs 60 at Rs 7060. Meanwhile, 18k gold prices today turned dearer by Rs 50 to 5,777.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold continued to hold its ground at $2,658.07 per ounce, as of 0016 GMT. Spot silver stayed neutral at $32.11 per ounce, platinum surged 0.4% to $989.60 and palladium fell 0.2% to $1,054.75, according to Reuters.

Silver Prices Today In India: Silver price today fell marginally for 2nd consecutive day. 1kg silver prices today in the country slipped by Rs 100 to Rs 92,800. 100 grams silver prices today declined in India by Rs 10 to Rs 9,280.
