Gold Prices Get Dearer In India, Nov 6: 24K/100 Grams Gold Rallies By Rs 1100, Silver Stable

Gold prices in India today witnessed rally as Republican Donald Trump is on the brink of landslide victory and Democrat Kamala Harris decided to cancel her speech. Meanwhile, investors shifted their focus to US Federal Reserve's upcoming meeting. 22k gold prices in India today rallied by Rs 100 to Rs 73,650/10 grams and 100 grams of 22 carat precious metal prices today zoomed by Rs 1000 to Rs 7,36,500. 24k gold prices in India gained by Rs 110 to Rs 80,350/10 grams and 100 grams of 24 carat yellow metal prices today stood at Rs 8,03,500. 18k gold prices today surged by Rs 80 to Rs 60,260/10 grams and 100 grams and 18 carat precious metal prices zoomed by Rs 800 to Rs 6,02,600.

1 gram gold rate today for 22k edged up by Rs 10 to Rs 7,365 and 1 gram gold rate today for 24k surged by Rs 11 to Rs 8035. 1 gram gold price today for 18 carat gold surged by 8 to Rs 6026.

Silver Prices Today In India: Silver price in India today remained steady. 1 kg silver prices today in India stood at Rs 96,000. 100 grams silver prices are retailing at Rs 9,600 as prices remained unchanged today.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold declined 0.2% to $2,738.89 per ounce, as of 0051 GMT. Bullion touched a record high of $2,790.15 last Thursday. Spot silver dipped 0.6%to $32.47 per ounce, platinum fell 0.7% to $992.92 and palladium fell 1.6% to $1,058.24, according to Reuters.

According to Reuters, Gold is supported by "the uncertainty of the elections. Part of it is what happens if things don't go so smooth, part of it is the possibility of tariffs, some kind of economic changes," said Daniel Pavilonis, senior market strategist at RJO Futures. Gold should ultimately reach $2,800 "once the dust settles" after the election, Exinity Group Chief Market Analyst Han Tan said. Elsewhere, markets widely anticipate a quarter-point cut from the Federal Reserve on Thursday, a further reduction to U.S. interest rates this year after a big cut in September.
