Gold Prices Stable In India, Oct 5: Check Latest Yellow Metal Prices, Steep Rally In Silver Prices

Gold prices in India remained steady on Saturday after better than expected US jobs data dimmed prospects of a sharp rate cut from Federal Reserve next month that helped in boosting the dollar. 22K gold price today stood at Rs 71,200/10 grams and 100 grams of 22 carat gold rate price is Rs 7,12,000 on October 5, 2024. 24k gold prices today in India are retailing at Rs 77,670/10 grams and 100 grams of 24 carat yellow metal prices today stood at Rs 7,76,700.

18k gold prices today stayed steady at Rs 58,260/10 grams and 100 grams of 18 carat precious metal prices today are trading at Rs 5,82,600.

According to Reuters, "if geopolitics play a role over the weekend, gold futures could easily accelerate back up to $2,700 and threaten new all-time highs," said Phillip Streible, chief market strategist at Blue Line Futures.

1 gram gold rate today for 22k remained stable at Rs 7,120 and 24k/1 gram gold price today did not witness any changes as well as prices are retailing at Rs 7,767. 18k of 1 gram gold rate today stood at Rs 5826.

Silver Prices Today In India: Silver price in India today witnessed sharp rally. 1kg silver prices today in India jumped by Rs 2000 to Rs 97,000. On the other hand, 100 grams silver prices today surged by Rs 200 to Rs 9,700.

Spot Gold, Spot Silver Prices Today: Spot gold fell 0.2% at $2,649.69 per ounce by 01:57 p.m. EDT (1757 GMT), after hitting a record high of $2,685.42 last week. U.S. gold futures settled 0.4% lower at $2,667.80. Spot silver surged 0.5% to $32.21, and set for a weekly gain. Platinum declined 0.1% to $989.33 and palladium remained unchanged at $1,000, according to Reuters.

The Reuters report added, "We're heading into a weekend where geopolitical tensions are at a boil, and that is really limiting the scope of accounts that are willing to sell gold," said Daniel Ghali, commodity strategist at TD Securities.
