RIL slides nearly 3% amid profit booking post 44th AGM
Reliance Industries, meanwhile, was the worst performer on the Sensex, plummeting 2.35 percent despite the fact that chairman Mukesh Ambani made a flurry of announcements at the company's 44th annual general meeting (AGM).
Shares of the company ended the trade lower at Rs 2,145, down 2.75% on the day of AGM.
Ambani made many big announcements, including the addition of Yasir Al-Rumayyan, Chairman of Saudi Aramco and Governor of PIF, to the Reliance Industries Board of Directors as an Independent Director. In addition, he stated that over the next three years, Reliance Industries will invest Rs 75,000 crore in the new energy business.
