Reliance Shares Drop 2% After Reports Govt May Curb Stake Sale To Aramco

Shares in Reliance Industries dropped almost 2.5 per cent, after reports that the government had moved the Delhi High Court.

"The government had moved the Delhi High Court seeking to block Reliance selling 20 per cent stake in its oil and chemical business to Saudi Aramco for USD 15 billion, in view of pending dues of USD 3.5 billion in Panna-Mukta and Tapti oil and gas fields," a PTI report stated.

The shares of Reliance were last trading at Rs 1562, down 2 per cent over Friday's close.
