SpiceJet has launched a 'zero change fee' offer, which allows passengers to change dates or names on their tickets for free up to seven days before departure. According to the airline's press release, this offer will be valid for all bookings made between March 27 and April 4 for travel between March 27 and June 30.
"The offer thus aims to extend significant flexibility and cost savings to all its passengers in these unprecedented times...Fare difference will be applicable for flight changes and shall be payable by the customer," the release noted.

The waiver of the change fee is only available once. If the customer changes the flight for the second time, the customer will be charged the applicable change fee as per the standard terms.
The offer is valid on all SpiceJet bookings, including those made through the SpiceJet website, mobile app, reservations, airport ticketing counters, and online travel agencies.
Also, SpiceJet has agreed to a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Avenue Capital Group of New York for the financing, acquisition, sale, and lease-back of 50 new planes.
Shares of the airline company were seen trading at Rs 70.85, up 1.94% on BSE at 11.28 AM IST. It touched an intra-day high of Rs 71.50 during the trade.
