This Stock Hit 52-Week High On Stock Split Plan

TTK Prestige hit a 52-week high of Rs 10,586, up 20% intraday, as the company's board prepared to consider share sub-division on October 27. TTK Prestige Ltd., founded in 1955, is a Consumer Durables-focused Mid Cap business with a market capitalization of Rs 13,972.36 crore.

TTK Prestige has announced that a board meeting will be conducted on October 27 to discuss the company's sub-division/split of equity shares with a face value of Rs 10 apiece.

At the same meeting, the board will also discuss the unaudited financial results for the quarter and half-year ending September 30.

Under the Prestige brand, TTK Prestige manufactures kitchen appliances and cookware. The pressure cookers are the company's most well-known product. In Q1 FY22, the company reported a combined net profit of Rs 30.59 crore, up from Rs 2.55 crore in Q1 FY21. During the quarter, revenue from operations climbed by 77 percent year on year to Rs 401.07 crore.

In early trading today, TTK Prestige achieved a new high of Rs 10,407.85. It has increased by 87.65% since its 52-week low of Rs 5,360.60 on October 21, 2020.

The stock returned 70.14 percent over three years, compared to 92.3 percent for the Nifty Midcap 100. Over a three-year period, the stock returned 70.14 percent, while the S&P BSE Consumer Durables index returned 150.02 percent. In the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021, the company spent less than 1% of its operating revenues on interest charges and 8.74 percent on labour costs.
