He highlighted Saravanan's deep family and professional connection to the Dravidian movement: "As a son and a film personality, he brought fame to his respected father, the late A.V. Meiyappan, fondly known as 'Appachi.' The AVM company has a long history of association with Dravidian cinema, having produced classic works like Perarignar Anna's 'Or Iravu', Thalaivar Kalaignar's 'Parasakthi', and Murasoli Maran's 'Kuladeivam'.
