Aadhaar is a verifiable 12-digit identification number issued by UIDAI. A number of Aadhaar services provided online by UIDAI can be used by people. There is no doubt that Aadhaar services have made our life simpler. mAadhaar app an official mobile application created by the Unique Identity Authority of India (UIDAI) to provide Aadhaar holders with the facility to carry their demographic information on their smartphone.

Who all can use the secure QR code of e-Aadhaar?
Anybody, whether an Aadhaar holder or User/Service Agencies such as Banks, AUAs, KUAs, etc., may use this facility for offline data verification in e-Aadhaar.
What is a QR scan Code in Aadhaar?
The Secure QR code is a UIDAI digitally signed visual code containing demographics and photographs of the Aadhaar holder.
QR codes of e-Aadhaar contain demographic details of a resident like a Name, Address, Date of Birth, Gender, and Masked Aadhaar Number. In addition, the larger QR code contains photographs also.
How to download mAadhaar app on mobile?
Step 1: Visit the Google Play Store
Step 2: Click on the install button
Step 3: Allow the required permission
Step 5: Set in a password for the app
Verify Aadhaar using QR scan through mAadhaar app:
Step 1 Login to mAadhaar app
Step 2 Open the QR Code Scanner
Note: Every printed Aadhaar has a QR Code.
Step 3 Scan the QR Code on the presented Aadhaar.
Verify Aadhaar through the UIDAI website
Step 1 Click on the UIDAI website
Step 2 Under Services, select 'Verify an Aadhaar Number" option
Step 3 Enter the 12-digit Aadhaar Number
Step 4 Enter Captcha code for verification
Step 5 Click to verify
If the Aadhaar presented is genuine, it will be confirmed. Information in the QR Code is secure and tamper-proof as it is digitally signed by UIDAI.
The latest digitally signed QR code can only be read via the Windows-based framework of UIDAI and validated against UIDAI digital signatures. Additionally, a good quality STQC certified QR Code scanner will be required.
There will be two QR codes - a small one on the front of the cutaway portion with demographic data only; and a large one on the top of the front and back of the cutaway portion with demographic data and pictures. Therefore, any attempted fraud one-Aadhaar can be quickly identified by using the QR Code scanner.
Using this service, you can check and verify the identity of any visitor, maid, or driver, especially if you need proof of identity to verify the records of the person.
