2 Small-Cap Stocks To Watch After Stock Split Announcement

The two small-cap stocks that recently confirmed and announced a stock split are Avax Apparels and Ornaments Ltd., a small-cap company in the textile industry, and PVV Infra, a construction and engineering company based in Hyderabad that specializes in EPC services. As a result, market watchers are keeping a close eye on these two stocks.

PVV Infra Stock Split

"In continuation to our earlier communication dated 10th February 2026, regarding the fixation of 27th March, 2026 as the Record Date for the purpose of ascertaining shareholder eligibility for the proposed Stock Split, we would like to provide the following update: Please be informed that the aforementioned Record Date of 27th March, 2026 has been cancelled. The Board of Directors will determine a new Record Date in due course. We will intimate the revised date to the Stock Exchanges and our shareholders as soon as the Board reaches a decision," PVV Infra has confirmed in a regulatory filing.

The company has declared a sub-division/split of equity shares of 1 equity share of the company having a face value of Rs.5/- each into 5 equity shares having a face value of Rs.1/- each.

"PVV Infra stock price is bearish on the Daily charts with strong resistance at 4.79. A Daily close below support of 4.26 could lead to a target of 3.8 in the near term," commented A R Ramachandran, part-time SEBI-registered Research Analyst, Tips2trades.

Avax Apparels and Ornaments Stock Split

For the purpose of sub-division of the face value of each equity share of the company from Rs 10/- each to Rs 5/- each, the company has fixed Friday, March 27, 2026 as the record date.

Accordingly, every 1 existing equity share of face value of Rs 10/- each fully paid-up is subdivided into 2 equity shares of face value of Rs 5/- each fully paid-up.

On Tuesday, February 17, the Board of Directors of Avax Apparels and Ornaments Limited met and announced the issuance of bonus equity shares in a 3:1 ratio, subject to the approval of the company's members. An announcement of the record date regarding the members' entitlement to receive bonus equity shares will be made later.

"Avax Apparels stock price is bearish on the Daily charts with strong resistance at 287. A Daily close below support of 266 could lead to a target of 231 in the near term," commented A R Ramachandran.
