Bengaluru weather today: Residents of the city this morning woke up to dry and sunny weather conditions, with temperatures surging as summer is slowly intensifying across Karnataka.

According to the India Meteorological Department , dry weather is likely to continue across the state, while maximum temperatures are expected to reach up to 40°C in the coming days.
The weather today in Bengaluru recorded a maximum temperature of 35.6°C and a minimum of 20.5°C, according to the district-wise temperature data released by the Karnataka State Natural Disaster Monitoring Centre. The weather department has also informed that cold and foggy conditions may be seen in some places during the early morning hours, especially in the interior parts of the state.
Rising temperatures across Karnataka
The Karnataka weather forecast by IMD shows a sharp increase in daytime temperatures across many districts. Several northern districts have already recorded high temperatures.
For instance, Kalaburagi recorded one of the highest temperatures at 39.5°C followed by Raichur and Yadgir, which touched around 38.7°C. Ballari and Bagalkote recorded about 38.2°C.
Meanwhile, coastal districts like Udupi saw relatively moderate temperatures with a maximum of 34.4°C, although humidity levels were high.
IMD warns of possible heatwave days
The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has warned that Karnataka weather could face four to six days of heatwave conditions this summer. According to the forecast, the north interior Karnataka districts and coastal regions are likely to be the worst affected.
Meteorologists say that the Bengaluru weather for the coming week may have dry conditions.
Bengaluru Weather Trend in the Last Few Days
Bengaluru experienced a calm and pleasant start to the day on Sunday, with the temperature recorded at 23.6°C at around 8:30 AM, according to IMD data. Weather patterns on Saturday remained quite similar with clear skies and warm daytime conditions and temperatures staying within the same seasonal range.
Comparison with other cities in Karnataka
Compared to several other cities across Karnataka, Bengaluru weather today remained relatively cooler during the morning hours.
• Mangaluru: around 29°C with higher coastal humidity
• Kalaburagi: about 31°C with drier air
• Belagavi: close to 31°C with moderate winds
• Karwar: about 27°C with humid coastal conditions
• Gadag: around 26°C
• Chitradurga: nearly 23.8°C
Northern districts such as Kalaburagi and Belagavi are already experiencing stronger heat conditions, while cities located on the Deccan plateau, including Bengaluru and Chitradurga, continue to remain comparatively cooler in the mornings.
What to expect tomorrow?
As per IMD, Bengaluru Weather conditions are expected to remain largely unchanged tomorrow, with sunny skies and dry conditions likely to continue. Temperatures may rise slightly during the afternoon, but overall weather patterns suggest another day of stable and comfortable conditions, especially during the evening hours.
