The countdown for the 22nd installment of PM Kisan has begun. Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 22nd installment of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, which is expected to benefit about 9.32 crore farmers. The 22nd installment includes Rs 2,000 payment to each eligible farmer's registered bank account. As per reports, the government will release up to Rs 18,640 crore to 9.32 crore farmers.
PM Kisan 22nd Installment Time & Date

As per the official notification on PM Kisan website, the Prime Minister Narendra Modi will release the 22nd installment at 05:00 PM on March 13. The venue is Guwahati Assam.
The notification said, "Digital transfer of 22nd instalment by single press of a button to around 9.3 crore PM-KISAN beneficiaries by Hon'ble Prime Minister."

However, not every farmer will receive the benefit, as the department also identified certain suspected cases that fall under the exclusion criteria outlined in the PM Kisan scheme guidelines.
Which Farmers Will Be Excluded From PM Kisan Yojana:
- Farmers who acquired land ownership after 01-02-2019,
- Cases where more than one family member is receiving benefits (e.g., both husband and wife, an adult member and minor, etc.).
PM Kisan department said, "The benefits for such cases have been temporarily withheld till physical verification is completed."
Accordingly, farmers are requested to check their eligibility status on Know Your Status (KYS) of PM KISAN website/ mobile app or Kisan eMitra chatbot for further details.
How To Get Access Of PM Kisan Yojana Beneficiary List:
Step 1: Visit https://pmkisan.gov.in/.
Step 2: Under the Farmers Corner, you will find 'Beneficiary List' option below. Click on it.
Step 3: To get access of the beneficiary list, you will be required to provide information such as your state, district, sub-district, block number and village. After doing so, click on get report.
How To Check beneficiary status of PM Kisan account?
Step 1: Open the link below
https://pmkisan.gov.in/
Step 2: Click On 'Know Your Status' option.
Step 3: It needs to be noted that to know your status, a farmer should have registration number.
Step 4: Enter the registration number and captcha code. Then click on Get One-Time Password (OTP).
Step 5: OTP will be sent to your eKYC Registered Mobile Number. Enter and Submit to review your status.
How Can Farmers Register For PM Kisan:

Step 1: Visit the official website: pmkisan.gov.in
Step 2: On the right side of the screen, in bold, it will be mentioned as 'New Farmer Registration'. Click on it!
Step 3: You will be directed to a new page, where you will be required to feed in your details.
Step 4: Firstly, you need to select between two options namely 'Rural Farmer Registration' and 'Urban Farmer Registration'.
Step 5: Then, put in details of your Aadhaar Number and Mobile Number. Your Aadhaar will be authenticated with UIDAI. You will be able to proceed with registration only if your Aadhaar is authenticated.
Step 6: Select the state you reside in. And add a captcha code.
Step 7: Once all details are added, generate a one-time password (OTP) which you will receive on your registered mobile number.
eKYC Compulsory In PM-Kisan:
To ensure the benefit of the PM KISAN scheme reaches to the intended beneficiaries in their Aadhaar seeded bank accounts without involvement of any middlemen. There are three modes of eKYC for PM Kisan.
OTP Based e-KYC For PM Kisan Yojana:
To execute, OTP based eKYC, the farmer is required to have Aadhaar linked active mobile number. For this follow the given steps:
i. Visit the PM-KISAN portal (https://pmkisan.gov.in/)
ii. Click on e-KYC (on the top right corner of the website)
iii. Enter your Aadhaar number and complete your eKYC after submitting your OTP
Biometric based e-KYC For PM Kisan Yojana:
This facility has been made available to over 4 lakh Common service Centres, and various State Seva Kendras across the country to provide the services at the doorsteps/neighbourhood of the farmers. For this follow the given steps:
i. Visit your nearest CSC/SSK with your Aadhaar Card and Aadhaar linked mobile number
ii. The CSC/SSK operator will assist the farmer in performing biometric authentication using Aadhaar-based verification
e-KYC through Face-authentication For PM Kisan Yojana:
The farmer can also do the eKYC through their mobile at their own convenience. This is the most innovative and hassle-free way of doing eKYC. The steps are given below:
i. Download the PM-KISAN mobile app and Aadhaar Face RD app from the Google Play Store
ii. Open the app and login through your PM-KISAN registered mobile number
iii. Land on the beneficiary status page
iv. If eKYC status is "No", click on the eKYC, then enter your Aadhaar number and give your consent to scan your face
v. After successfully scanning your face, eKYC is completed
Notably, the status of the eKYC done through any mode will be reflected in the beneficiary status after 24 hours. Also, the farmers can access their status from the KYS module on the PM-KISAN portal and Kisan-eMitra (PM-KISAN AI Chatbot).
