One of the top private sector banks, DCB Bank, has changed the interest rates on fixed deposits under Rs 3 Cr. The bank now offers interest rates between 3.75% and 7.25% on tenures ranging from 7 days to 120 months. DCB Bank is currently giving a maximum standard interest rate of 8% and 8.50% for senior citizens on fixed deposit tenures of 15 months to less than 16 months. According to DCB Bank's official website, the newly announced FD rates go into effect on March 5, 2025.

The bank is now giving an interest rate of 3.75% on fixed deposits that mature in 7 to 45 days, while DCB Bank is also offering an interest rate of 4.00% on those that mature in 46 to 90 days. The interest rate offered by DCB Bank is now 4.75% for fixed deposits with a duration of 91 days to less than six months and 6.20% for those with a tenure of six months to less than ten months. The interest rate on DCB Bank fixed deposits that mature in 10 to less than 12 months will now be 7.05%, while the interest rate on those that mature in 12 months will now be 7.10%.
The bank is now giving an interest rate of 7.50% on fixed deposits maturing in more than 12 months to 12 months 10 days, and 7.15% on those coming to an end in 12 months 11 days to less than 15 months, according to DCB Bank. For fixed deposit tenures of 15 months to less than 16 months, DCB Bank is now offering an interest rate of 8.00%, and for tenures of 16 months to 17 months, a rate of 7.15%. Interest rates for DCB Bank fixed deposits maturing in 17 months, 1 day to 18 months, and 5 days will now be 7.10% and 7.40%, respectively, for those maturing in 18 months, 6 days to less than 700 days.
The bank is now giving an interest rate of 7.50% on fixed deposits that mature in 700 days to less than 37 months, while DCB Bank is now offering an interest rate of 7.85% on those that mature in 37 months to 38 months. Current interest rates offered by DCB Bank are 7.40% for fixed deposit tenures longer than 38 months to less than 61 months and 7.65% for tenures more than 61 months. The interest rate for DCB Bank fixed deposits maturing in periods longer than 61 months to 120 months will now be 7.25%.

You may create a fixed deposit account with DCB Bank for as little as Rs 10,000 and get interest payments on a monthly, quarterly, half-yearly, or annual basis, according on your needs. By reinvesting the interest with the principal, DCB Bank provides the benefit of quarterly compounding.
"You can avail of loan/ OD against your Fixed Deposit of up to 80% of the value of the deposits. This facility is not available against DCB Tax Saver Fixed Deposit and non-callable deposits," mentioned DCB Bank on its website.
