Betex India Limited, incorporated in 1987, duly registered with Registrar of Companies, Maharashtra, has been engaged in the textile processing business. Later in the year 1992 Company has change its registered office from Maharashtra to Surat.
Later its management was taken by Somani Group of Surat. At present its Chairman is Mr. Mahesh Kumar Somani and Managing Director, Mr. Raj Kumar Somani, Director of the Company recognised the name and brand of the Company as quality product supplier among its competitors.
The Company made its IPO of 400000 equity shares of Rs. 10/- at par aggregating to Rs. 40.00 Lacs in the year 1987 and received overwhelming response from investors. Equity shares of the Company were listed on Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
The company has three Process House (Dying and Printing Unit) namely : -
1) Betex India Limited 2 ) Sumeet Silk Mills ( Unit 1) 3 ) Sumeet Silk Mills ( Unit 2 )
The company is mainly engaged in job processing work on grey fabrics through its dying and printing units. In the year 2007 Company has installed 1.25 MW Wind Mill Project at Kutch, Gujarat.
