1995 - Impex Ferro Tech Ltd. was incorporated with an objective to set up a plant for manufacturing Silico Manganese and Ferro Manganese and promoted by Mr Vimal Kumar Patni and Mr Suresh Kumar Patni.

1998 - As a part of expansion, the company had set up two submerged Arc furnaces of 3.6 & 5 MVA rating for manufacturing Silico Manganese and Ferro Manganese at Kalyaneshwari, District Burdwan, West Bengal.

2001 - The company further went for expansion, when the third furnace having a rating of 7.5 MVA was installed.

2002 - Third furnace of the company commenced production in April 2002.

2004 - Company had issued an initial public offer (IPO) of 80 lakh shares at Rs10 each at par. This price of shares amounts to a 37% discount from the book value of Rs15.88.

2005 - Board of directors of the company had decided to install a 30 MW coal based power project at the company's existing site at Kalyaneshwari, West Bengal along with 5th SAF furnace with an installed capacity of 7.5 MVA for manufacturing ferro manganese.

2007 - On 28th May 2007, the board of Impex Ferro Tech had decided to issue not more than 27 million equity shares of the face value of Rs 10 each on rights basis aggregating not more than Rs 40 crore.

- Company had passed the resolution to increase the authorized share capital.

2009

-Impex Ferro Tech Ltd Issues Rights in the Ratio of 1:1.
