The Company was incorporated on 1st February 1985 as a
Private Limited Company in the name and style of
Containerway Agencies Pvt Ltd in the State of West Bengal.
The Company received a fresh certificate of incorporation on
change of name to Containerway International Pvt Ltd on
13/01/95 and received a fresh certificate of incorporation
on conversion to a public limited Company in the name and
style of Containerway International Limited on 31/01/95
from the Registrar of Companies, West Bengal.

Containerway International Ltd.(CWlL) has been promoted by
Mr.S.K. Puri and Mr.S.L. Ganapathi. The Company's main
business is International freight logistics management,
providing a fully integrated service through their
worldwide network. The Company does:

Logistics Planning - Providing complete advice to the
customers on mode of transport, cost benefit analysis,
scheduling etc for the purposes of freight movements.

Freight Booking - Negotiating freight rates and arranging
for bookings with the shipping lines on the customers'
behalf.

Documentation & Customs Clearance - Advising and helping
customers with preparation of required documentation, and
getting the consignments cleared by the customs.

Haulage - The Company has its own fleet of over 50 custom
designed tractor trailers in India for the haulage of 40ft
and 20ft ISO containers, ensuring lower costs and fast
transit times, for their customers.

Specialised Services - The Company provides specialised
services like consolidation of cargo, groupage and express
freight services to its customers.

Supplementary Services - Additional services like house
stuffing of cargo, carnage and haulage of empty containers
from ICDs to the customer's site and vice versa are also
provided to the customers.

The Company is a registered multimodal operator,
controlling shipments from origin to destination and
providing a reliable door-to-door freight service.

The Company through its 100% subsidiary Fracht Forwarding
and Travels Pvt Limited, an IATA Cargo agency is in the
business of clearing and forwarding of air freight. The
Company also holds a Custom House Licence (CHL). This
enables the Company to undertake custom clearance of
consignments for their customers at all major ports and
airports where the Company has offices.Â

-The Company has splits its face value from Rs. 10/- to Rs. 5.

2025

-Company name has changed to Indus Aluminium Recyclers Ltd. from Containerway International Ltd..
