Kwality Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated as a Public Limited Company on August 21, 1992 and registered with the Registrar of Companies (West Bengal) at Calcutta. The Company obtained a Certificate of Commencement of Business on 7th July, 1993. The Company is setting up a new project with an installed capacity of 3600 tpa for manufacture of Ice Cream Mix Powder. The said project would require about 43,700 litres of milk to be processed every day to achieve its peak production of 10 tpd of Ice Cream Milk Powder.

In addition to Ice Cream Milk Powder, the Company will also be producing small quantities of Skimmed Milk Powder (SMP), Ghee and Casein out of its unused Solid Non Fat (SNF)/White Butter (WB) and sour milk. The project is being set up to primarily act as a captive supplier of Ice Cream Mix Powder to various ice-cream manufacturing companies in the group loosely referred to as the Kwality group.

1999

2009

-Kwality Dairy has recommended a dividend of Re. 1.00 per equity shares (i.e. @ 10%)

-Kwality Dairy has recommended a split of face value of equity share of Rs. 10/- each into face value equity share of Re. 1/- each.

2010

-Kwality Dairy has recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.10 per equity shares (i.e. @ 10%).

-KDIL launches 'Dairy Best Ghee'

-Kwality Dairy has given the Bonus in the Ratio of 5:7

2011

-Mr. Sidhant Gupta has been appointed as Executive Director of the Company.

- Ms. Deepa Kapoor has been appointed as Company Secretary & Compliance Officer of the Company.

2012

-Kwality Dairy has recommended a dividend of Rs. 0.10 per equity shares (i.e. @ 10%).

-KwalityDairy Launches new dairy products -Paneer, Curd & Milk.

2013
-Kwality Dairy India Ltd has been changed from Kwality Dairy (India) Limited to Kwality Limited

-The Registered office of the Company has been changed from Village Softa, Tehsil & Dist. Palwal, Faridabad Haryana - 121004 to KDIL House, F-82, Shivaji Place, Rajouri Garden, New Delhi - 110027 Telephone number 011-47006500 & Fax number 011-24191800.

2014
-The Board of Directors recommends a dividend of Rs. 0.10/- per equity shares (i.e. @ 10%) for the financial year 2013-2014.

2016
-Kwality gains nearly 5 pct on bourses.
-"Kwality Ltd receives branding push; successfully crosses legal hurdle".
-Kwality gains on Rs 520 crore capital infusion from KKR India.
