Rossari Biotech Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Promoters, commenced the specialty chemicals business on March 6, 2003, as a partnership firm in the name of ‘Rossari Labtech’, having Mr. Edward Menezes and Mr. Sunil Chari as partners. Subsequently, on December 5, 2003, the name of the partnership firm was changed to ‘Rossari Biotech’, and the business of the partnership was changed to that of manufacturing, purchase, sale, import, export and otherwise to deal in enzymes, textile auxiliaries, applications and products of biotechnology for textiles, leather, paper, construction materials, pharmaceuticals etc. Further, on January 17, 2004, RBIPL was admitted as partner in Rossari Biotech. On April 1, 2009, Ms. Anita Menezes, Ms. Usha Chari, Ms. Jyotishna Chari and late Ms. Irene Menezes were admitted as partners in Rossari Biotech and on June 15, 2009, Mr. Mikhail Menezes was admitted as a partner in Rossari Biotech.

- The Promoters entered into a partnership firm to start the manufacturers of specialty chemicals and industrial enzymes in India

2004

- Established the first manufacturing facility at Silvassa

2009

- Conversion of partnership firm into the Company

- Incorporation of the Company

- Obtained recognition for in-house R&D unit from the Department of Scientific and Industrial Research

2010

- Forayed into animal health and nutrition products

2013

- Forayed into HPPC products

2014

- The Promoters entered into a Joint Venture with BUZIL-WERK Wagner GmbH & Co. KG to form Buzil Rossari Private Limited

-Recipient of Best Innovator Award 2014 by BIRAC Govt.Of India

2015

- Lease granted by GIDC to the Company for setting up the manufacturing facility at Dahej

2017

- The Food Safety Management System of the Silvassa Manufacturing Facility has been assessed and found to conform to the requirements of ISO 9001:2015

2018

- Entered into an exclusive purchasing agreement with Hindustan Unilever Limited

2019

-Rossari Biotech files Rs 700-cr IPO papers with Sebi

2020

- Completion of the Pre-IPO Placement

2021

-Rossari Biotech announces full commissioning of its Greenfield manufacturing facility at Dahej, Gujarat.

-Rossari Biotech Ltd was recently bestowed with the Goldern Peacock Award for Business Excellence 2021.

-Rossari Biotech completed acquisition of 1st tranche of 76% stake of Tristar.

2023

-Bio Spectrum India Excellence Awards 2023 as the Bet Indian Industrial Enzymes Company.
