Diesel Prices in Bihar

The state-based oil marketing companies in India determine the prices of diesel based on crude oil rates in the global market. The crude oil prices are currently volatile and fluctuate every now and then during trade session and hence the diesel prices in India is also revised on a daily basis based on the crude prices and currency exchange rates.

India adopted the dynamic pricing technique to arrive at the prices of diesel.

The new pricing model will pass on even the slightest change in the global market and currency exchange rate to the end consumers promptly. For example: if the crude oil dips in the global market then the prices of diesel comes down in India and vice-versa.

The revision of prices takes place at 6 am in the morning at all the fuel stations either automatically or through manual intervention.
