Diesel Prices in West Bengal

The prices of diesel keep on revising on a daily basis in the state of West Bengal since the initiation of the Dual Pricing Technique to arrive at diesel prices starting from June 2017.

This system was adopted to bring in more transparency in pricing fuel in India. Apart from this, the system helps to keep the prices of fuel in sync with global fuel prices which fluctuates on a daily basis. The new pricing model will pass on even the slightest change in the global market and currency exchange rate to the end uses promptly.

The revision of prices takes place every day at 6 am in the morning across all the fuel filling stations on an automatic basis. In some of the fuel stations, human intervention is required to change the fuel prices.
