How will the IVRS system identify the customer?
The IVRS is a tool which is used to book for ordering a refilled cylinder.
Once the customer selects the language option as per the preference and moves on he/she will have to type in the distributor’s telephone number along with STD code to proceed further. Once the distributor is identified, the system will ask the customer to enter the 17 digit consumer number. One can cross-check for the consumer number in the refill cash memo or in the gas book issued by the distributor. On entering the consumer number, the IVR system will prompt the user relating to the prefix or suffix alphabets to take the inputs accordingly.
For Example: If the consumer number is 548796, B548796, H548796, then the system will prompt the customer to enter 1 for 548796, enter 2 for B548796 and enter 3 for H548796 respectively for booking the refilled LPG cylinder.
Once the IVR system, identifies distributor and customer number properly, the system will ask for the option of refill booking along with other services. The consumer now has to opt for refill booking by pressing 1, in case of complaints enter 2 and for inquiring about last booking enter 3.
On selecting the option for refill booking, refill booking will be taken along with the booking reference number will be generated and the same will be sent to the registered mobile number via SMS.
