LPG Cylinder for non-domestic, that is for commercial purpose is available in 5 kgs, 19 kgs and 47.5 kgs respectively. An individual has to pay a security deposit for the purpose of getting a commercial cylinder along with the duly filled in application form attached with the required documents as prescribed by the gas distributor.
If an individual is looking out to secure an Indane gas connection for the non-domestic purpose, then the same is available in 5 kgs, 19 kgs, 47.5 kgs capacity. On paying a certain sum of an amount as a security deposit, the cylinder will be released.
For 5 kgs NDNE cylinder with SC valve, a security deposit of Rs 350/- per cylinder has to be paid.
For Pressure Regulator (PR) Rs 150/- per PR has to be paid(for North East it will be Rs 100/-).
For 19 kgs cylinder with SC valve, a security deposit of Rs 1,700/- per cylinder has to be paid.
For 19 kgs cylinder with LOT valve, a security deposit of Rs 3,200/- per cylinder has to be paid.
For 47.5 kgs cylinder with SC valve, a security deposit of Rs 4,300/- per cylinder has to be paid.
For 47.5 kgs cylinder with LOT valve, a security deposit of Rs 5,800/- per cylinder has to be paid.
According to the Department of Explosives, LPG of up to 100 kgs can be stored without an explosive license in case of unconnected cylinders. So, if an individual requires up to 100 kgs of LPG the same can be obtained from the nearest Indane gas dealer for the purpose of commercial/industrial requirements.
