LPG Price in Punjab (24th April 2024)

The Domestic LPG (14.2 kg) price in Punjab (Amritsar) stands at ₹844.00. No change recorded in the LPG price compared to last month. Over the past 12 months, the LPG price trend has been decreasing, with a decrease of ₹300 from May 2023 to April 2024. The most significant price decrease was ₹200 in August 2023.

The LPG price in Punjab is mainly determined by the state-run oil companies and the same is subject to change on a monthly basis based on the global crude fuel rates. The rise in crude oil leads to a rise in the LPG rates in Punjab and vice-versa. LPG is a safe and colourless gas and hence its use has tremendously increased in the domestic and industrial sector. The government of India is currently providing domestic LPG Gas cylinder (14.2 kgs) in Punjab at subsidized rates to the low-income section of the society. How can a consumer register their mobile number via SMS for booking an Indane Gas cylinder?

If the consumer is using the SMS facility for the first time, then they have to send an SMS to IOC to xxxxxxxxxx.

For Example: If the distributor’s telephone number is 24586145, the STD code is 044, consumer number is FV2649H, then the SMS should be sent as shown below IOC 04424586145 FV2649H.

For subsequent bookings, one has to send an SMS IOC to xxxxxxxxxx.

After registering the mobile number, the consumer can subsequently refill the LPG bookings every time by sending an SMS from the same mobile number which was used for registering and booking the LPG cylinder previously.
