Markets are absolutely flat today and are awaiting the exit polls prediction by the major channels, for the elections in states, particularly UP. Here are a few stocks that jumped up to 16 per cent in trade today.
Palred Technologies
Shares in Palred Technologies gained as much as 14 per cent in trade today, at Rs 124 on the NSE. There were no known reasons for the sharp jump in the stock. There was also no notification that was given to the two major exchanges in the country. Windsor Machines
Windsor Machines was another stock that jumped in trade. The stock was last seen trading at Rs 62 with gains of 13 per cent in trade. Again, it was difficult to know the reason for the jump in the share price of the company. Windsor Machines is a global plastics processing machinery manufacturer based in India and is one of the few domestic companies engaged in manufacturing Injection Moulding, Pipe Extrusion and Blown Film machineries under one roof. GKW Limited
GKW Limited (formerly Guest Keen Williams Limited) was a subsidiary of the U.K. based engineering giant GKN plc. for over 80 years. In 1994, GKN Plc. divested its stake in GKW Limited. Hathway Cable & Datacom Limited
Hathway Cable and Datacom is one of the largest Digital Cable TV and Broadband Internet Services provider in the country. The shares of the company jumped 7 per cent at Rs 38.30. Autolite
Shares in Autolite jumped as much as 7 per cent in trade at Rs 65.50 per share. The company is a leading manufacturer of Automotive Head Lamps, Work Lamps, LED Lamps, Fog Lamps, Turn Signal Lamps, Halogen Bulbs, Incandescent Bulbs & Miniature Bulbs.
