Airtel, India's one of the largest telecom services provider, is facing an outage as thousands of users reported issues that they are not able to access their internet and wifi on mobile phones. The majority of the issues are reported in regions of Gujarat, Ahmedabad, Mumbai, Jaipur, and Surat among others.
As per the real-time outage detector, Downdetector, more than 2,800 of users have reported outages in Airtel. Among the most reported problems were that - 26% reported total blackout, while 32% complained about 'no signal' and 22% of them reported problems related to mobile connectivity.

The majority of cities where users complained are Gujrat, Delhi, Jaipur, Surat, Mumbai and Ahmedabad. Notably, users in cities like Lucknow, Kolkata and Chennai also faced partial issues.

Some users took their X handler reporting the issue and even asking for updates.
A user named Jiten Kumar reported via his X handler, "Airtel Broadband & Mobile Services All Are Down, No Network on Mobile & Broadband. Everything is gone in Gujarat Right Now..!" He later tweeted back saying the network was restored successfully, although, it took 2 hours for the resolution.
A Youtube blogger, Aditya Tiwari said, "Does anyone else experience down in Airtel India, in Ahmedabad? Almost everyone at my office using Airtel SIM has No network."
One user complained that Airtel is down without any notification, When will it be restored? And will there be any notification or message about it? Please provide an update.
It needs to be noted that Airtel has yet to provide any details of the outage.
How To Report Network Issues At Airtel:
As per Airtel's official FAQs report, If you are facing a network issue in your area, you can go to the network map on "My Network" tab, drop a pin at the exact location and report an issue.
Alternatively, in case of problems with the internet, customers can also dial *121*114# if they are postpaid customers. If they are prepaid customers, they can dial *121*2# to check the internet quota.
Customers can also dial 121/198 to speak to Airtel advisors.
Bharti Airtel Share Price:
Despite the outage complaints, Bharti Airtel's share price traded higher on the NSE on Thursday. At the time of writing, the telco stock was up by 1.05% to trade at Rs 1,600.60 apiece with a market cap of Rs 9,11,675.03 crore. The stock traded near its day's high of Rs 1,602.05 apiece. The stock is now less than Rs 200 away from hitting its 52-week high of Rs 1,779.00 apiece, while has surged significantly from its 52-week low of Rs 989.65 apiece. YTD, Airtel stock is up by 58%.
