The Amrit Kalash fixed deposit programme offered by the State Bank of India is active through June 30. The 400-day duration of the special plan. Originally effective from February 15 to March 31, the Amrit Kalash plan was eventually extended for an additional three months. Benefits

Interest Rate
The general public receives 7.1% interest under this special programme, while senior persons receive 7.6%.
According to SBI's official website, "The specific tenor scheme of "400 days" (Amrit Kalash) at Rate of Interest of 7.10 per cent w.e.f. 12-April- 2023." A 7.60% interest rate is available to senior citizens. The Programme will be in effect until June 30, 2023.
Interest Payment
It pays interest at intervals of every month, every quarter, or every half-year. The interest on special term deposits will be paid when they mature. At the conclusion of the FD's term, SBI will deposit the interest-net of TDS-into the customer's account.
Tax
According to the Income Tax Act, TDS would be taken from the scheme. The SBI Amrit Kalash plan offers a loan option and premature withdrawal facility.
How To Buy Amrit Kalash scheme
Customers can invest in the Amrit Kalash scheme by visiting a local branch of the SBI, through netbanking, or using the SBI YONO mobile app.
Rate of interest on term deposit-
- The rate of interest for term deposits that will mature in a span of seven to forty-five days is 3%.
- For term deposits with a maturity of 46 days to 179 days, return is 4.5 percent and 180 to 210 days is 5.25%.
- Investors with fixed deposits that mature in 211 days or less than a year will get interest at a rate of 5.75%.
- Earn interest on term deposits with one- to two-year maturities at a rate of 6.8%. Deposits with a two- to three-year holding period will yield 7% returns. The interest rate is 6.5% for deposits made for three to ten years.
