YEAR EVENTS

1984-The company was established on 9th August.

1996 - During the year capacity of Laminate unit was doubled. The expansion of plywood
factory was also completed during the year. The Wind Mill Project with capacity of 550 KW
has been installed in Tamil Nadu.

- The Company has started implementing quality control measures requisite for grant of ISO
9002 and would be shortly applying for the grant of the same.

- The Company has also received certifications from Underwriters Laboratories Inc. USA,
renowned for testing of Industrial laminates in the world, for some of its industrial laminates.

- The Company has introduced cost saving devises and with the reduction of prices of basic
raw material, paper the future of the Company looks bright in view of continued clients
patronage and established brand name.

- Sri M.Y. Konyak, Sri S.C. Deorani and Sri Sanjeev Bubna were appointed as Directors of
the Company w.e.f. 16.04.96. Sri Saurabh Mittal was appointed as Director w.e.f. 13.08.96.

- Sri Sanjeev Bubna and Sri K.C.Jain resigned on 14.05.96 and on 13.8.1996 respectively.

- The Company has installed highly efficient Thermo fluid heater and Smoke Tube Boilers
which will give high fuel efficiency. It has also modified heating media from steam to
thermofluid for setting high speed high fuel efficiency. It has modified thermo setting resin
to set in lower temperature consuming less heat energy.

- The Research & Development Department has developed low temperature setting
Phenolic Resin and test curing Phenolic Resin which has reduced processing time. It
has also developed mirror finished film overlayed shuttering plywood.

1997 - The plywood factory of the company situated at Tizit, Dist. Mon, Nagaland was closed
from 10.6.1997 to 4.11.1997.

- The wind mill of the company has generated power of 805475 units and to ensure
uninterrupted power generation the company has entered into operation & maintenance
contract with the manufacturer of machinery.

- Sri K. C. Jain was appointed as Director on 29.8.97

- Sri M. Y. Konyak & Sri S. C. Deorani retire by rotation and being eligible offer themselves
for re-election.

1998 - The Generation at wind mill was affected due to low wind during the year.

- Sri S. P. Mittal & Sri S. Mittal retire by rotation and being eligible offer themselves
for re-election.

- The Company has also developed mirror finished film overlayed shuttering plywood. The
Company has set up a waste fired boiler to generate steam from its waste and scrap.

1999 - The Short Cycle Plant was also brought into operation in December '98 and the Company
has launched its Pre Laminated Particle Board under the brand name "Green Lamiboard"
in the market with a great deal of success.

- During the year under review the company has set up a new unit at Behror for the Production
of Pre-laminated Particle Board and the production was commenced in the month of December,
1998.

- The Company is exploring further export market potential and contemplating setting up of a
third Hot press for Decorative Laminates.

- Shri M. Y. Konyak & Shri S. C. Deorani, Directors, retire at the ensuring Annual General Meeting
and being eligible offer themselves for reappointment.

- The Company has also got ISI certification for its decorative laminates.

- A quality assurance cell has been set up in the factory to ensure that no sub standard
material is despatched from the factory and only goods of specified standards are
produced by strictly monitoring process controls.

2000 - The Company has issued of 1,00,00,000 No. of equity shares of Rs. 10 each
on preferential basis (private placement)

- Increase the authorised share capital of the company from Rs 12 crore to
Rs 21 crore.

- The Board has approved allotment of 9,01,000 shares at a premium of Rs 20 per
share with a face value of Rs 10 per share.

2001 - The Board of the Company has allotted 770,000 million No. of Equity shares at
Rs 30 per share (face value Rs 10 plus premium of Rs 20) on a private placement basis.

2005

-Leading plywood and laminates manufacturer Green group on October 6 announced its entry into the Singapore market with the launch of its international arm GIL Intercontinental PTE Ltd

-Company has splits its Face value of Shares from Rs 10 to Rs 5

2006

-Greenply Industries signs Carbon Emission Purchase Agreement with a private investment fund.

2007

-Greenply Industries Ltd has appointed Ms. Sonali Bhagwati as an Additional Director of the company w.e.f. 22nd January, 2007.

- Greenply Industries Ltd has informed that Mr. Shiv Prakash Mittal, Chairman of the Company has been appointed as an Executive Chairman with remuneration w.e.f. February 01, 2007.

2008

-Greenply Industries Ltd has decided to incorporate a Wholly Owned Subsidiary Company of Greenply Industries Limited in the name of GREENLAM AMERICA INC in the state of Florida (U.S.A.).

2009

- Greenply Industries Ltd has recommended Final Dividend of Rs 1.50 per share on equity share

-Greenply Industries Ltd Issues Rights in the Ratio of 3:10

2010

- Greenply Industries Ltd has recommended Final Dividend of Rs 1.50 per share on equity share

2011

- Company has started commercial production of densified plywood unit situated at GIDC Estate, Bamanbore, Surendranagar, Gujarat

2012

-Appointed Mr. Upendra Nath Challu as an additional director on the Board of the Company

- Greenply Industries Ltd has recommended final dividend of Rs. 2/- per equity share

2013
-Company has incorporated a subsidiary Company named Greenply Trading Pte Ltd. in Singapore

2014
-Greenply Industries Ltd has started commercial production of laminated wooden flooring at the Companys existing MDF Unit at Pantnagar, Uttarakhand.

-Greenply Industries has splits its face value from Rs. 5 to Rs. 1

2016
- Greenply Industries Ltd said that it has incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary company Greenply Holding Pte. Ltd in Singapore.

-Greenply Industries said that it has incorporated a step-down wholly owned subsidiary (WOS) company named Greenply Gabon SA in Gabon, West Africa.

2017
-Greenply Industries Ltd one of it's step-down subsidiary of GREENPLY GABON SA, Gabon, West Africa has commenced commercial production of ÂVeneer', at its manufacturing unit at Nkok
