Shyam Metalics and Energy Ltd. Company History and Annual Growth Details

The Company was incorporated as Shyam DRI Power Limited on December 10, 2002, at Kolkata, West Bengal, India as a public limited company under the Companies Act, 1956. The name of the Company was changed to Shyam Metalics and Energy Limited, vide special resolution passed by the Shareholders on November 23, 2009, and a fresh certificate of incorporation consequent upon change of name of the Company was issued by the RoC on January 5, 2010. The name was changed to reflect the principal business activities of the Company.

* Backward integration by starting commercial production of iron pellets plant with capacity of 300,000 TPA

2014

2025

-The Company has commissioned its Modern Blast Furnace along with Linear Sinter Plant and started its commercial production. 

-The company has received a credit rating upgrade from CRISIL Ratings Limited.

-The Company has been honored with the CSR Contribution Award at the Edelgive-Hurun India Philanthropy Awards 2025.
