Shri Shakti LPG Ltd. was promoted by S/Shri D.V.Manohar, D.V. Satya Kumar and their relatives, associates and NRI friends. SSLPG is implementing a project envisaging setting
up of an integrated 'Liquified Petroleum Gas' (LPG) plant which, inter alia, includes Offshore import system consisting of Multibuoy Mooring System, Pipeline End Manifold, Submarine Pipe Line System with throughput of 0.35 million tonnes of LPG and 1.5 million tonnes of other
petroleum products, Bulk Storage Terminal for LPG with a storage capacity of 4950 tonnes at Nemam village, Kakinada and LPG Bottling plants with capacities of 50,000 tpa each at Kakinada, Hyderabad and Bangalore. The offshore import system is proposed to be located oft the Kakinada coast. The company was incorporated on the 13th July, 1993 and obtained the Certificate of Commencement of Business pursuant to Section 149(3) of the Act on the 21st July,
1993.

The company started operations within one year of incorporation by importing 1958.594 MT of LPG at Vishakhapatnam port during May, 1994 and marketed LPG in bulk to industrial consumers under Market Seeding Programme. The commercial operations of Kakinada bottling plant commenced with effect from 1st Jan., 1995.

2000

- The Company part of the Rs 500-crore Shri Shakti Group, has entered into a pact with AVML Auto Gas of Colombo, for exporting its recently developed LPG fuel conversion kits.

2010
-Company has changed its name from Shri Shakti LPG Ltd. to Shri Matre Power & Infrastructure Ltd.
