Oracle launches software for financial crime investigations

Oracle, the IT services giant, on October 17, 2011, said that it has introduced Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Case Management to cater to the financial crime investigations and compliance segment with greater efficiency.

The solution helps the financial services organizations to deal with varied demands of business-specific investigation functions through an enterprise-wide case management platform. The platform will help the companies to manage the financial crime and compliance management initiatives by providing them with an overall review.

By opting for the platform, organizations can directly share information with the various analysts of financial crime units in the enterprise regarding online banking, ATMs and payments.

The financial platform launched by the company also helps to cut down the operational costs by integrating the technology costs related to the multiple financial crime and compliance programs, the company said in the release.

Commenting on the development, S. Ramakrishnan, group Vice President and General Manager Oracle Financial Services Analytical Applications said, “Oracle Financial Services Enterprise Case Management helps organizations gain a comprehensive view of financial crime investigations across their enterprises, enabling new levels of collaboration and insight."
