Torrent Pharmaceuticals Ltd has informed BSE that the following changes in the directorate of the Company as approved by the Shareholders at their Annual General Meeting (AGM) held on July 26, 2013:

1. Dr. Prasanna Chandra has ceased to be a Director of the Company due to his retirement from the Board with effect from the conclusion of AGM above.

2. Shri. Sanjay Lalbhai has ceased to be a Director of the Company due to his retirement from the Board with effect from the conclusion of AGM above.

3. Shri. Pradeep Bhargava (who was earlier appointed as Additional Director by the Board of Directors at its meeting held on October 26, 2012) has been appointed as Director (Independent Non-Executive) of the Company w.e.f. July 26, 2013, liable to retire by rotation.
