Tata Sons' Chairman Emeritus Ratan Tata who is on an investment spree has now set his eyes upon Holachef which is an online marketplace for home chefs and professionals where he has invested an undisclosed amount.

Ratan Tata has so far made 12 investments in startups, including Holachef and he usually invests between Rs.1 crore and Rs.5 crore via RNT Associates.

Commenting on this, Saurabh Saxena, co-founder, Holachef said, "Ratan Tata's name and body of work are synonymous with trust and consumer focus. By winning his trust, we have raised the bar of quality and excellence for ourselves."

Holachef which was founded in May 2014 received about $3 million from Kalaari Capital.

Holachef is a platform where home and professional chefs place their meal at reasonable price.
