EPC firm Raunaq International Ltd said on Friday that the company has changed its name to Raunaq EPC International Ltd, effective from August 31, 2015 as the new name being depicting the nature of business activities of the company more appropriately and significantly.
In a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange, the company informed, "Pursuant to the approval of the members of the company at their Annual General Meeting held on July 30, 2015, and of the Central Government as required, the name of the company has been changed from 'Raunaq International Limited' to 'Raunaq EPC International Limited' w.e.f. August 31, 2015, the new name being depicting the nature of business activities of the company more appropriately and significantly."
Further the company said that there is no change in the line of business of the company.
Meanwhile, shares of the company closed at Rs 78 apiece, down 8.24 per cent from previous close on BSE.
