ITC Ltd announced that its paper boards and specialty papers division has introduced grease-resistant paper boards at the 97th AGM of Calcutta Paper Traders Association.

The company said that the foodgrade paper board variety which is without the use of plastic film was launched aiming the food industry particularly the quick service restaurant chains and sweet shops.

ITC said in a statement, "Virgin (not recycled) fibre based paper boards were suitable for direct food contact applications."
