Sensex Ends The Day Lower; Metal Stocks Fall
Benchmark indices ended the day lower as selling pressure in Europe dragged Indian indices lower after Asia closed mostly higher.
The Sensex ended the day with losses of 86 points, while the Nifty lost 20 points in trade. Leading the set of losers from the Nifty were metal stocks, which fell, following a slump in international metal prices.

Infosys continued to gain ground and once again ended the day with gains. Reliance Industries, which surged as much as 4 per cent on Monday, saw some profit booking and ended marginally lower.
Shares in Nestle continued to rally after reports that many states have lifted the ban on the company's Maggi range of Noddles. .
Motilal Oswal Financial Services saw its shares gaining as much as 7 per cent after the company reported a jump in Q2 net profits by 33.1 per cent.
SKS Micro Finance, which saw a solid surge in its share price after reporting good Q4 numbers, saw profit booking and ended the day with losses.
Meanwhile, markets across Asia mostly ended the day with gains, while Europe was trading with losses.
