Indian equity benchmarks ended the trade in the positive zone. The 30-share benchmark index ended trade at 26625.91, higher by 100.45 points, while the NSE Nifty was at 8170.20, up by 29.45 points.

Asian markets ended in the green. While, buying across European markets pushed the stocks higher.

V-Guard Industries

Shares of V-Guard Industries surged, hitting 52-week high after the board of directors of the company approved the proposal for splitting of equity shares of the company.

The stock ended the day at Rs 1392, higher by 5.33 per cent on NSE. It touched an intraday high and 52-week high at Rs 1464 during the trade.

Carborundum Universal

Shares of Carborundum Universal surged after the RBI withdraws foreign institutional investors (FIIs) stake buying in the company.

The stock ended the day at Rs 215, lower by 2.07 per cent on NSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 225 and low of Rs 214 during the trade.

Centum Electronics

Shares of Centum Electronics rose more after the company announced acquisition of Adetel Group of France.

The stock ended the day at Rs 549, higher by 0.09 per cent on NSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 584 and low of Rs 540 during the trade.

Max Financial

Shares of the Max Financial rose more than 13 per cent on Friday after the Board approved merger of Max Life Insurance Company Limited and Max Financial Services Limited into HDFC Standard Life Insurance Company.

The stock ended the day at Rs 472, higher by 10.29 per cent on NSE. It touched an intraday high at Rs 514 and low of Rs 460 during the trade.
