Markets End Lower; L&T, Bharti Biggest Losers
Benchmark indices ended the day lower, led by losses in heavyweights like ICICI Bank and Larsen and Toubro.
Global markets made some good recovery, with indices in Asia ending the day with gains, while most of Europe was also trading higher.

Among non index stocks, Indoco Remedies saw its share price slide by almost USFDA issued Form 483 with six observations for Goa plant II & III of Indoco Remedies
Banking stocks came in for some selling pressure, especially the PSU Banking stocks. Among the major losers from the space were stocks like Oriental Bank, Allahabad Bank and Bank of Baroda.
Shares in MCX rallied a huge 6 per cent after the company increased transaction charges by 25 per cent for non-agri commodities.
