The platinum metal is a naturally occurring chemical element which is around 30 times rarer than gold according to Jenny Luker, president of Platinum Guild International (PGI) USA. The PGI is a marketing firm for the platinum jewellery industry. She says, if all the Platinum even the mined ones are melted and poured into an Olympic sized pool, it would barely reach your ankles, contrarily, gold will fill three pools.
