How To File The New PAN Card Application Online?

Steps For Filling New PAN online are described below:

1. Log on to https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan

2. The home page of the NSDL has many options.This includes applying for the new PAN card, enquiry and tracking status, making changes in PAN, reprinting, etc.

3. If you want to apply for a new PAN, visit https://tin.tin.nsdl.com/pan/newpan.html.

4. Form 49A to be filled for new PAN card application. Fill details and click on submit to submit Form 49A. You will get an acknowledgment on your screen. This unique 15-digit number is your PAN card acknowledgment number. You can save and print it for future process.This 15-digit number must be sent to the IT department with all documents. 

 

Identity proofs

You have to produce any identity proofs for applying for a new PAN card online. You can use any of the following:
Aadhar Card
Voter Id Proof
Passport
Driving License
Arms License
Photo identity card issued by the Central/State Government or Public Sector Undertaking
Pensioner card with photograph of the applicant
Central Government Health Service Scheme Card or Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme photo card
Bank certificate in original
Certificate of identity in original signed by a Member of Parliament or Member of Legislative Assembly or Municipal Councillor or a Gazetted Officer

Address Proofs

You can provide the following documents as address proofs:
Driving licence
Aadhaar Card
Elector's  identity card
Passport
Passport of the spouse
Post office passbook with address of the applicant
Latest property tax assessment order
Domicile certificate issued by the government
Allotment letter of accommodation issued by Central or State Government. This should not be more than three years old
Property registration
Certificate of address in original signed by a Member of Parliament or Member of Legislative Assembly or Municipal Councillor or a Gazetted Officer
Employer certificate in original. 

 

Additional documents

Documents such as electricity bill, landline telephone or broadband connection bill, water bill, Consumer gas connection card or book or piped gas bill, bank account statement, depository account statement, credit card statement, etc. can be submitted if they are not older than three months. Now You Can Get A PAN Or TAN Within A Day

Date of Birth Proofs

You have to produce documents for your date of birth. This can be,

Pension payment order

Affidavit sworn before a Magistrate stating the date of birth

Charges

For getting a new PAN card, you have to pay charges. An amount of Rs 96 should be paid if the communication lies inside Indian boundaries. If not, you'll have to pay Rs 962. If the address lies in India, this charges can be paid online or via demand draft and by using credit/debit card. You will get a payment receipt after payment. Track your PAN

After making the online application, you need to send the acknowledgment letter with proofs and two recent passport-sized photographs. To NSDL in Pune within 15 days.
